The Portrait

The perfect gift. A detailed questionnaire is followed by two 90-minute interviews where you answer questions about your life. We then write your life story in first person, your voice carefully portrayed. You then select your photos and cover image, after which we design the cover and insert according to your wishes. The result is a complete depiction of your life journey; a perfect gift for your loved ones to keep forever. This option is perfect as a gift to someone whose life story simply must be preserved!

The Personal Portrait

Our most popular option. The process is very simple: You tell the story – we write. Before we start, you fill out a questionnaire where you answer questions about your life. We will then meet for 10 in-person interviews of 90 minutes each where you answer questions and tell us about your life. After the first interview you are asked to read the first draft. As soon as you feel satisfied with the tone and style, we continue. During the course of the project, you are regularly encouraged to read through the text and provide feedback.

The Life Portrait

This option is for you who want to take it a step further and really take your time. You know you have a lot of detailed stories to share and have the luxury of not worrying about time pressure. The process is the same as the Personal Portrait but there is room for both more text and images, as well as a larger edition. Of course, it is possible to make the project even more extensive – we will adapt along the way if desired!
